Research and Planning Materials

Generic Venue Release forms and Risk Assessment forms are available on the shared area. The are accessed through the Media Folder and in the Generic forms folder. They do need to be printed off, photographed and then uploaded. Production schedules can be uploaded as they are and then re-posted on completion of your coursework as they will not be complete until that time. Keep Going Everyone!! no time in April !!!

Hi All.
Could students please ensure that they are up to date with work before the half term holiday.
Recent posts should include:-

*Your own college newsletter mock layout
*Your own college newsletter
Both these posts need to have notes beneath explaining your choices.

Some of you have already made a start on Music Mag Cover analysis - you need to post 2 of these, one of which must be a magazine from your chosen genre.
If all the above is already done and posted - excellent!!! But...now you can do your contents page analysis

Work to be blogged so far

Hello All

Most of you appear to have blogged at least your opening comments and information about your product brief. You also need to now complete the following:-

*Google Questionnaire (Don't forget to ask friends etc. to complete this for you!!
*Blog the work you have done on Semiotic Theory - to show your understanding
*Media Vocab - the different sections/parts of a mag/newspaper
*Analysis of school newsletter front covers (you have seen an example of this)
* Notes on layout/house styles

You then need to begin thinking about a layout for your school newsletter
Any problems - ASK!!

Year 12 2010/2011

Can you all please ensure that you have posted your opening comments. They should include an outline of your cwk assignment and what you are going to do in order to complete it.

Year 12

Can you all make sure that you have a Schedule of Works. This should show what elements of coursework you need to do and when you intend to do them by. It will allow you to plot your progress towards completion of your AS coursework. SOW should include lesson dates, what you want completed by the end of the lesson and also what you actually complete by the end of the lesson. By setting yourselves targets for completion it will make sure you do not fall behind. Please do your SOW in word so they can be updated and then put into your blogs once coursework is complete.

Don't forget your original photography for your Music Mag Front Covers should be done!!!
